The Wake Forest Dream League is a baseball league designed for special needs children ages 5-18 of the Wake Forest, North Carolina area. Dream League baseball gives special needs children the opportunity to play America’s greatest pastime. With the help of peer buddies, players of varying disabilities are given the chance to enjoy the sport of baseball while their parents proudly cheer them on! All games are held at Tyler Run Park. Registration for the 2012 season is currently underway. If you are interested in participating as a player or buddy, please either fill out the 2012 registration form and mail or bring it to Town Hall, or use the new online registration! Online registration requires you to set up a one-time profile, and then it’s really easy. For players, the fee is $40 if you are a Wake Forest resident and $80 for non-residents. Buddies are absolutely free! Players please fill out shirt and pants size, and buddies please make sure you put down a shirt size! This year we will not be having a practice game as we have in previous years. Click for an informational sheet from our 2011 season. Join the Wake Forest Dream League Facebook Group!
